There are some perks to having a small apartment - cheaper rent, typically closer to downtown or city life, and less space to clean :) However, the struggle many people face with having a small apartment is just that - the space! Having a small space provides a challenge for many people making it difficult to furnish simply because they're left with the daunting task of functionally dressing the space. I believe you don't have to sacrifice style for functionality, I'm going t
I am absolutely obsessed with my DIY LED backlit green wall foliage! Before we get too far into the details, here's a little backstory....Since I moved in my place back in April, I had no idea what to do with this space. Pretty much every area of my apartment was decorated except for this space because nothing "felt" or looked right. Fast forward 8 months later, I woke up at 6am on my holiday break with an idea to create some sort of greenery wall decor for this space myself.
Cheers to having talented, artistic friends! I'm sure we've all seen random local-inspired creations at various stores, markets, and boutiques, however, I think this 11x14 Toledo map is my all-time favorite locally inspired masterpiece! I cannot wait to find the perfect wall space where this beauty will adorn my home. It's been a while since I've shared an update on the progress of my new apartment. I've been in my new digs for about 2 full months now and I've been loving every bit of it. She ended up getting the coffee table and side table for a steal! #2: Accessories! Accessories

I tried to walk away but I heard the voice of the Lordt say, "Purchase in thy name and bless thou bathroom with these regal threads." So, basically I was just being obedient. Anyways, I stopped into my local Home Goods to just browse around and stumbled upon these gems for my bathroom. I found these super soft red, white, and blue Tommy Hilfiger towel
It's official - I've finally spread my wings and ventured out of my parent's home! Now lets hope I don't flop to the ground like a bird on its first struggle flight. However, it feels good to be able to say, "Okay, I think I'm stable enough to be on my own - and get everything on my own." I mean, this is one of the reasons we go to school, get a degree, and a good job right? So that we can do these type of adulting things? So here I am, in my own space - ahhh. One thing that
